When you hire a United Realty IL agents to represent you as a home buyer, in nearly every case our fees are paid for by the seller. When the seller lists their home for sale with their agent, part of the contract that thay sign includes what percent commission they will be paying, as well as what percentage will be paid to the agent and brokerage who represent a buyer. This means that you get the all of the services and representation of an top-notch professional agent working with you, but you don't pay us - the home seller does.
*There are a few odd cases where we are paid by the buyer (like if you purchase a for-sale-by-owner home and the home owner isn't willing to pay our commission) but those instances are very rare.
